I popped out this afternoon with the “heavy gear” – 5D MkII, tripod, TS-E24 II and Lee Filters. Originally I’d planned to shoot spring flowers with a macro lens, but they were disappointing so I did some city landscapes instead.
Everytime I use the TS-E 24mm I am bowled over by its image quality. It really is excellently sharp with great contrast. Of course it helps to shoot at the optimum F8 and use tilt for infinite depth of field.
Some shots from the hour in town, all processed through Nik Silver EfeX Pro 2. All shots used the Lee Big Stopper and 3 stop hard grad.
